Online Option to View or Pay Bill
You may view or pay your bill, see usage and payment history on your account, or even have reminders and alerts sent to your cell phone or an email address. We accept e-checks, as well as VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards. (E-checks cost us $.60, whereas credit/debit cards cost us about 1.3% of the amount charged. Example: If you charge $100, it costs the cooperative $1.30. Both are added expenses to your cooperative.) Please go to the following web address to access any of these options:
Automatic Bank Draft
If you prefer to be set up on automatic bank draft, you will need to contact our office to complete and sign an authorization form to have your bank account drafted once each month; or click the icon below for an authorization form which you can complete, sign and submit to our office.
Budget Billing
Qualifying residential members may sign up on this payment plan in March or October. A bill amount is estimated based on the average of the previous 12 months' bills, and may be revised every March and October. Any difference between the total actual billings and the total budget payment plan payments shall be charged or credited annually at the end of each contract period, and the member shall pay any amount due before the next period begins.
Levelized Billing
Qualifying residential members may sign up on this plan at any time.
Members will pay a "rolling average" amount based on the current bill and the previous 12 months, so the payment amount may fluctuate slightly. However, this method should not leave a large balance owing at the end of any 12-month period.
(To qualify for the Budget Billing or Levelized Billing plans, members must be current and shall have paid without penalty for the previous 12 months of service.)
Are there agencies that might help pay an electric bill in time of need?
There are several area agencies in our area that have been known to assist customers with bill payment in a time of crisis. Please be advised that our cooperative is not affiliated with these agencies in any way and has no agreements with them. There is no guarantee assistance will be granted. You might contact the Salvation Army, the Red Cross, or the Sedan Ministerial Alliance. LIEAP funds are also available through the state of Kansas at certain times of the year, to assist our members who qualify under low-income guidelines.
